I have been involved in outdoor recreation and outdoor education since 1974.

I’ve appreciated the educators I have interacted with through COEO (Council of Outdoor Educators of Ontario), The Ontario Camp Leadership Centre and POEEA (Peel Outdoor and Environmental Education Association). In the year 2000, fellow teacher Paul Strome and I formed Outdoor Paragon a professional development network that exists to develop outdoor and environmental education skills in educators who service the youth of Peel Region, Ontario, Canada.
